TEAM LEWIS appoints Martin Harkin its Australian MD

Global marketing agency TEAM LEWIS has appointed Martin Harkin managing director of its Australian business.

The appointment will see Harkin’s return home to Sydney after more than three years in New York, first with Red Havas and most recently as senior VP and global head of business development at Method Communications.

He will be tasked with expanding the TEAM LEWIS footprint in Australia.

“I see so much potential for TEAM LEWIS in Australia, which is what made the decision to return to Sydney a no-brainer,” Harkin said.

“The combination of the talent levels of the local team, backed by the expert services of our APAC and wider global teams, means the agency couldn’t be better positioned for rapid growth.”

Harkin began his career in journalism before moving to the ‘dark side’ of public relations and has since worked across a range of specialties, including media buying, creative and social media.

His work has taken him between Australia, the UK and North America.
