Ted Horton, Mashable and Buzzfeed strategy chiefs, MTV boss and radio host Mel Greig join Mumbrella360 lineup
The opening speakers of both days of next month’s Mumbrella360 conference have today been revealed, along with further additional sessions.
One of Australia’s most effective admen Ted Horton will open the conference with an on-stage interview with Mumbrella’s Tim Burrowes. Horton is boss of Melbourne based agency Big Red, best known for its market-defining work on behalf of Coles.
And MTV’s international head of youth and music outside of the US Kerry Taylor will open the second day of the conference with a presentation and discussion focusing on marketing to millennials. The London-based Taylor, who was responsible for reality juggernaut Geordie Shore, is Viacom International Media Networks’ senior VP of youth and music. She is also VIMN’s chief marketing officer for its channels managed out of London including Australia, NZ, UK, Ireland, Russia and Central & Eastern Europe.
A further major international speaker announced today is New York based Adam Ostrow, chief strategy officer of Mashable, who has been with the viral site almost since it began, coming on board as its second employee. Mashable launched in Australia earlier this year.
I never thought I’d see the day where Ted Horton and Buzzfeed would appear in the same sentence.
Ted Horton..wow. I’ll have to go!
