Telstra Chief Marketing Officer, Kate McKenzie, said Telstra was proud to partner with “The Oprah Winfrey Show” during their visit to visit to Australia and will be providing:
I am surprised there isn’t a buzz or backlash here about the Oprah episode on Channel Ten last night. I turned the TV on maybe halfway through and watched to the end, slack-jawed about the extremely poor production quality of the australian links and footage. Some of the images (tourism/destination stuff presumably meant to entice) were fuzzy and looked like home videos replayed on an old tv monitor.
The links with Carrie Bickmore were horrendously written and the brand mentions plain embarrassing, the sound and picture quality was poor/dreadful.
With all the hype, I’d have thought Channel Ten and Harpo could pull together something better.
So appalling, I can’t wait to see what they do next.
