Ten boosts its share on the back of The Project’s Bachelor interview and Party Tricks
Network Ten enjoyed a marked increase in its audience share to 15.3 per cent on its main channel last night on the back of new political drama Party Tricks and a major spike in traffic for the second half of The Project, as viewers tuned in to see The Bachelor’s Blake Garvey and Sam Frost discuss their break up.
The Project’s interview with Garvey and Frost drew a metro audience 1.192m viewers for the 7pm slo, with viewers tuning in to see the reasons behind the couple ending their engagement. This was well up on the 6.30pm slot which drew an average of 793,000 viewers and more than double the audience The Project got last Monday where it drew 651,000 in the 7pm slot.
According to Oztam Ratings, in the 8.30pm slot Ten’s much promoted drama Party Tricks, featuring Asher Keddie and Rodger Corser, drew a solid 710,000 viewers but was beaten by Seven’s The Blacklist which had 945,000. However it did top Nine’s Big Brother which had an audience of 673,000 viewers.
Glad 7’s on top. Their shows are not as smutty.
Ten defiantly milked the Bachelor interviews..making it the last story on the project so everyone would stay tuned in till the end…did not help that Rove was carrying on all throughout the show waiting for the interviews.
Pretty lame interviews though.
