Ten to stick with I Wanna Marry Harry despite US axing

Ten has said it will continue to air the poorly rating I Wanna Marry Harry despite the show being dropped from broadcast by its network in the US.

However, from this coming Friday the reality contest – in which a group of women are tricked into thinking they are competing to marry Prince Harry – will be moved back to 10.30pm.

On Friday, the show rated just 244,000 capital city viewers in the 8.30pm slot for Ten. The network had originally identified the show as a building block for its key Sunday night schedule, but had a change of heart before it began to air.
