Network Ten today announced the first sponsors for its exclusive coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.
Samsung Electronics Australia, PharmaCare Laboratories, Fiat Chrysler Group (Jeep Brand), McDonald’s Australia, Optus and Maurice Blackburn have signed on to be part of what promises to be the most spectacular Olympic Winter Games the world has seen.
did they take into consideration the human rights abuse in Russia atm before signing sponsorship?
i mean when south africa was at the peak of its human rights issues the world didnt go near it but for some reason we are ignoring what is going on in russia and glossing over it
people are being jailed for who they are, why is it the world doesnt seem to care?
I for one will be boycotting the network and the sponsors for these games based on the disgusting anti gay laws in Russia and the lack of response from companies to these atrocities.
Especially when some of these companies sponsoring the Australian networks broadcast are friendly to the lgbtiq community – what marketing “genius” thought that this would be a good idea???

Who cares about gay laws etc this is the Winter Olympics and it should be a time of peacefull competition.
I just tried to watch the winter Olympics and have been greeted with Roy and HG for the second night. These guys are insulting and embarrassing to Aussie viewers let alone other countries, athletes and viewer sin the rest of the world and also are racist. They have had their day , Their coverage is insulting to our athletes, and Russia, I switched over to watch some other show because I want a decent coverage. I want to see some decent coverage not this old Sydney2000 Sh%%t
