Ten stops believing in Don’t Stop Believing

don't_stop_believing_ten_mumbrellaNetwork Ten has axed its ambitious live performance spectacular Don’t Stop Believing before it went to air.

The show – which was a centrepiece of Ten’s 2011 schedule announcement in Setpember – had always had a question mark over the format – dubbed “reality Glee” – after it failed in the UK.

But at the time, programming boss David Mott insisted to Mumbrella: “We’re evolving the show greatly from the UK version. I can tell you, anyone who has not seen the UK show has not seen our version yet.”
