Ten struggles on Tuesday night with The Project securing just 218,000 viewers

Ten placed well behind its commercial free-to-air rivals Nine and Seven as well as the national broadcaster the ABC, with 10.6% audience share last night.

Its flagship news and current affairs program The Project had just 218,000 metro viewers, according to OzTAM’s preliminary overnight ratings, while the second-half hour was the network’s most-watched program, with 396,000.

The Project is currently missing Carrie Bickmore who is on maternity leave
