Ten struggles on Saturday night with top-rated program, Territory Cops, pulling just 274,000
Ten’s most-watched program on Saturday evening was a repeat of Territory Cops, with the commercial station scoring an average audience share of just 6.3%, only slightly ahead of SBS’ 6.2% and behind Nine’s 15.4%, ABC’s 15.7% and Seven’s 22.2%.
Seven’s strong performance was largely thanks to its news line-up and screenings of the films Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (647,000 metro viewers) and Clash of the Titans (279,000).
ABC placed second for the evening, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings, and had five of the top 10 most-watched programs: ABC News (698,000), Home Fires (584,000), The Last Post (524,000), Doc Martin (438,000) and Gardening Australia (330,000).
