Ten takes ratings dip, while Seven stays on top
Seven notched up a convincing win in the ratings race last night led by the same five programmes that took the top five the previous Sunday, while in contrast Ten took a ratings tumble.
The Force was the most watched show with 1.6m viewers, followed by Border Security, Bones, Seven News and Sunday Night, according to preliminary OzTam figures.
The channel attracted a 29.8 per cent share, followed by Nine with 22.8 per cent. Ten had a 17 per cent share, which was down from the 19.1 per cent it recorded the previous Sunday.
Ten also saw ratings for its long-running Australian Idol franchise fall slightly to 0.890m compared to 0.942m in the previous week. Its digital channel One recorded a share of 1.3 per cent, which was also markedly lower than the 2.1 per cent it attracted the previous Sunday.
not surprising that 7two is behind Go- the channel has been a serious disappointment so far with movies no one has heard of and no sense of identity- Go for me has a much stronger niche play at this stage.
Don’t fall into the trap of judging station performance from single night ratings!
