Ten unveils ‘best Bachelor ever’, pilot Jimmy Nicholson

Ten has announced its next Bachelor, 31-year-old pilot Jimmy Nicholson, and returned to a non-celebrity figure after recent seasons featured ex-Survivor star Locky Gilbert and rugby union player Nick Cummins.

Last season, Gilbert drew 879,000 metro viewers in the finale’s last moments following a premiere to 681,000. It was the show’s second lowest launch since it began in 2013; Tim Robards’ first season attracted 669,000.
