Tennis and cricket battle for viewers in Tuesday night ratings

The second night of the Australian Open on Seven had 663,000 metro viewers tuning in to see Australia’s 18-year-old Alex de Minaur defeated by Tomas Berdych, according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

The Australian Open managed to out rate session one of Ten’s Big Bash League, which ran from 7:30pm, with 617,000 metro viewers tuning in to the cricket.
