Ten’s repeat of Modern Family boosted by non-ratings period as V8s bow out on Seven

Modern Family, MumbrellaTen’s repeat offering of Modern Family at 8pm was the night’s most watched non-news or current affair program, pulling an audience of 631,000 as the show benefits from the non-ratings period and was the most-watched amongst the 16-39 demographic.

It helped Ten to an audience share of 10.9 per cent, beating the ABC’s share of 10.6 per cent. Both channels were beaten by Nine which grabbed a share of 18.6 per cent while Seven was the winner with a share of 22.5 per cent.

Seven’s most-watched non-news show was Coastwatch Oz at 8pm which grabbed an audience of 574,000, out-rated by Ten’s Modern Family and Nine’s 60 Minutes which had an audience of 709,000. Coastwatch Oz’s audience was down on last week’s audience of 647,000.
