The $1599 chocolate brownie
Fair to say that there have been a fair few pitches for free passes to next week’s Mumbrella360.
With capacity sadly an issue, the answer has generally been a polite refusal.
However, this morning’s arrival of a large slab of chocolate brownie, accompanied by the right piece of DM won over the Mumbrella team.
The note from Daniel Kerr – a marketing graduate now looking for a job in Sydney – points out that he’s looking for a job and wants a pass to help him do some networking.
Happily, he’s also willing to sing for his supper. Look out for him running one of the microphones at the conference.
And if you’re looking to make a hire, you can find Daniel on LinkedIn.
The bar has now been set. If anyone else wants to emulate Daniel, they’re going to have to do significantly better than baked goods…
Good lad.
Who said brown(ie) nosing your way to the top doesn’t work
Fantastic.
We liked your approach Daniel.
Lasttix is looking for a graduate who can help deliver some marketing initiatives…if you want to chat send an email to jobs@lasttix.com.au
Dear lasttix
Thanks for the offer(Tim too for the opportunity, and to everyone that’s expressed an interest in me) it’s all rather unexpected but to those that have, I look forward to meeting over the coming days.
Although I’ve spent time in a marketing function prior, more recently I’ve been successful across industries in client facing business development roles in NZ and the UK.
Accordingly, I’m likely to head in a similar direction. All the best with finding the right candidate.
Daniel
I got paid for a media release in chocolate brownies just recently… sweet reward indeed.
