The AFR names Fiona Buffini as its new editor
The Australian Financial Review (AFR) has appointed Fiona Buffini as its new editor following the resignation of Paul Bailey, the publication’s longest-serving editor.
Buffini joined AFR around 25 years ago, working her way from news editor to, most recently, the masthead’s deputy editor (digital). She led the team responsible for the Financial Review’s digital platforms, including the website, the app, newsletters, and podcasts.
Congratulations to Fiona Buffini. She is a compassionate, smart and understanding person and has long been an asset to the AFR newsroom.
