The Block and The Ashes help Nine Network to a commanding 39.2% audience share on Sunday night

With The Block managing to crack 1m metro viewers on Sunday night and The Ashes bringing a large number of cricket fans to 9Gem, Network Nine completed dominated the viewing on Sunday night, delivering a network audience share of 39.2%.

1.12m metro viewers tuned in for The Block, making it the most-watched program overall for the night, while 542,000 tuned in for the lunch coverage of The Ashes day five on 9Gem, and 462,000 watched the first session.
