The Block helps Nine edge in front of Seven in weekly ratings battle
The behemoth that is The Block helped Nine scrape a weekly ratings win on its primary channel, with a 19.6% audience share compared to Seven’s 19.5%.
The close-fought battle comes after Seven this week claimed it had already won the ratings year, after 34 of the 40 ratings weeks, as the number one overall network and number one channel for total people.
At its Allfronts on Friday, Seven’s chief revenue officer Kurt Burnette, said the network had now won 12 years in a row, and this would continue all the way through to 2020.
