The Block on top as House Rules off for AFL
The Block held onto its audience last night with 1.162m viewers across the five city metro representing a small drop in audience numbers on last Thursday’s 1.369m.
Seven’s competing home renovation show House Rules, which beat The Block on Thursday last week with an audience of 1.54m, was only shown in Sydney and Brisbane last night as live AFL coverage was broadcast during primetime in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Nine News was the top program of the night with 1.385m viewers, and Nine’s A Current Affair had 1.068m.
Ten’s MasterChef Masterclass, the instructional cooking show that generally has a smaller audience than its competition episodes, rated just 483,000, making it for 17th for the night. However, it was eighth in Ten’s target category of 25-54’s.
The Block used to be a renovation show. It’s now turned into a slightly less invasive version of Big Brother. Getting a bit sick of it – show some renovations!
Deal or No Deal – really?
