Hammer time: The Block premiere beats My Kitchen Rules and The Masked Singer’s launch figures

The Block launch on Nine topped entertainment on Sunday, however, it was the Seven network that celebrated the overall nightly network share win and won the ratings week.

The program aired to 867,000 metro viewers, also winning all three key advertising demos. Last year, Nine aired the 2021 launch of The Block, with the show’s 17th series taking place in affluent Melbourne suburb Hampton. It brought in 747,000 metro viewers.
