The Christian O’Connell Show celebrates seventh birthday on GOLD104.3

The Christian O’Connell Show is celebrating seven years of success on GOLD104.3.
The announcement:
Tomorrow, The Christian O’Connell Show will celebrate 7 years of ratings success, banter and meaningful conversations on GOLD104.3.
Christian first joined the GOLD104.3 team in 2018 following a successful career in the UK, where he was the youngest ever inductee into the UK’s Radio Academy Hall of Fame and had won more Radio Academy Awards than any other person. He has since recorded over 1,300 shows for his Australian audience.
To mark the milestone, Christian will be spending tomorrow’s show thanking his listeners for their support with a huge giveaway of 7 amazing products from E&S – from Bosch washing machines to quad door fridges – to 7 lucky listeners. To enter, listeners were encouraged to send Christian a handwritten birthday card to the Richmond ARN studios.
Speaking of birthday giveaways, Christian has a double pass to see Oasis’ first show in London up for grabs – with all to be revealed on-air tomorrow. The winner will be accompanied by Oasis superfan and ARN receptionist Josh Butler, who was surprised yesterday on-air with travel and accommodation from The Christian O’Connell Show to see his favourite band live in London.
Speaking on the anniversary on-air, Christian O’Connell said: “On Wednesday, [it’s a] big anniversary for us on the show and you [our listeners] as well, because without any of you listening to the show, telling your friends about it, there is no me here and my kids having their life here and now in Australia.”
Launching on ARN in June 2018, The Christian O’Connell Show is all about connection and has continued to grow from strength to strength, recording many highlights including their recent Binboards marketing promotion, their award-winning Win a Billboard campaign, discussions on important topics including mental health and post-natal depression, raising funds for a number of important causes including most recently for Backpacks4VicKids, and of course, the daily banter between the team that the show is known and loved for.
