The Circle overtakes KAK

TTen The Circle mumbrellaen’s play-the-long-game policy to its live shows yesterday jumped another hurdle with The Circle beating Nine’s Kerri-Anne Kennerley for the first time during a ratings period.

The Circle rated 100,000 viewers – its best apart from its Anzac Day episode – while KAK scored 97,000, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.

However, both audiences combined were still only slightly more than Seven’s The Morning Show on 189,000.

A further blow for Nine came with Hey Hey It’s Saturday falling below 1m for the first time and drifting out of the night’s top ten shows.
