The Circle overtakes KAK

en’s play-the-long-game policy to its live shows yesterday jumped another hurdle with The Circle beating Nine’s Kerri-Anne Kennerley for the first time during a ratings period.
The Circle rated 100,000 viewers – its best apart from its Anzac Day episode – while KAK scored 97,000, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
However, both audiences combined were still only slightly more than Seven’s The Morning Show on 189,000.
A further blow for Nine came with Hey Hey It’s Saturday falling below 1m for the first time and drifting out of the night’s top ten shows.
hopefully this will be another nail in the coffin of hey hey seriously is there no better ideas out there in the world?
The gang at Today Show are strangely quiet. Could be the spanking they got yesterday from Sunrise… losing every capital city including Melbourne

For those of you who don’t like “Hey-Hey”, just tune out. Leave it for the multitude that do. And let them continue to support Australian artists, writers, stagehands, production staff together with Aussie and visiting guests the way they do so well.
What do you all want in its place; more crass American sit-coms; or even worse, soaps. Let alone their version of “drama”. If you want to pick on any current TV programme why don’t you have a go at CH 9 for all of the crap it shows on the GO CHANNEL.
“Hey-Hey” still provides two hours of pretty clean wholesome and entertaining programming for a group of viewers in the 25-plus demographic. And in regard to this show; CH ( deserves the highest compliments. With a average audience reach of over 1 million most weeks, it provides great joy to a key demographic; one with heaps of disposable income, whether it be for goods, services, or “lifestyle choices” across the board. Apart from several shows such as “DANCING . . “, “MASTER CHEF”, “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE” together with two or three others, what other shows achieve that. Leave well alone.
I have caught The Circle a few times and I love it! Should be up against sunrise and today – great presenters, funny and refreshing (just mute the advertorials)
