The Comms People secures new client wins

The Queensland-based agency has added multiple clients to its portfolio, strengthening its position as a strategy-led communications partner.

The announcement:

Queensland-based communications agency The Comms. People has secured a series of new client wins, further strengthening its position as a go-to partner for strategy-led consumer and corporate communications across tourism, aviation and adjacent sectors.

The senior-led agency has recently been appointed by Eden Retreat on the Gold Coast, Mount Isa City Council, Experience Eumundi and Sunshine Coast-based domestic violence charity SunnyKids, adding depth and diversity to its growing portfolio.

These new partnerships come as The Comms. People continue to sharpen their focus on supporting destinations, operators and organisations preparing for the long runway to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games – a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Queensland’s visitor economy, infrastructure and global profile.

Founded in 2023, The Comms. People has quickly built a reputation for editorial-first storytelling, combining strategic clarity with high-quality content and strong media relationships. The agency now works across both consumer and corporate communications for clients including the Queensland Tourism Industry Council, Tourism and Events Moreton Bay, Machjet International, McDermott Aviation, Noosa Chocolate Factory and The Curated Plate food and drink festival.

Co-founder Heather Mollins said the recent wins reflect a growing demand for experienced, hands-on communications partners who understand the intersection of tourism, aviation, government and major events.

“Brisbane 2032 is already shaping conversations across tourism, aviation and infrastructure, and organisations are rightly thinking about how they position themselves now to leverage the opportunities the Games will create – rather than waiting until 2032,” Mollins said.

“We work with clients who want more than visibility. They want clear narratives, strong stakeholder engagement and communications that drive real outcomes. These new partnerships are a great fit for us and signal the trust organisations are placing in senior-led, strategy-driven communications.”

With a footprint across metropolitan, regional and community-focused clients, The Comms. People are continuing to grow steadily, supporting organisations that will play a role in Queensland’s story over the next decade and beyond.
