The Feds MTV pilot The New Crowd goes live online

The pilot episode of The New Crowd, an MTV International documentary series created by Sydney production house The Feds, has launched online.

Josh Logue, creator and director of the pilot, shot the episode in Sydney last year with the working title ‘The In Crowd’. MTV International have posted the series online to gauge viewer response and if the show finds an audience, it will be commissioned for a full series that will air internationally across the MTV network. The pilot was first announced in late 2012 and The Feds are the first Australian production company to have a pilot commissioned by MTV International.

The New Crowd follows 18-to-24 year olds who have recently joined different groups or social cliques that they have aspired to be a part of for some time. The pilot episode features an 18-year-old roller derby enthusiast Michaela and wannabe magician Max, 22.
