The Mule holds box office lead earning additional $1.726m

Warner Brothers’ mystery thriller film starring Clint Eastwood, The Mule, has held its weekend box office lead earning an additional $1.726m.

The Mule has brought in a total of $4.832m and has held the top spot for the second week in a row. Last week, on its premiere, the movie managed $1.9m.


Green Book, which is based on a true story of a bouncer who becomes a chauffeur for an African-American pianist, brought in $1.44m over the weekend.

The movie managed to surpass Glass, which made $1.142m across 329 screens.

Meanwhile Paramount’s comedy Instant Family took its total earnings up to $11.249m after adding an additional $904,392 over the weekend.

Fox’s Bohemian Rhapsody, which is based on the band Queen and its lead singer Freddy Mercury, made $835,607.

The total earnings Bohemian Rhapsody has made so far is $51.608m.

New film On the Basis of Sex debuted last week and managed $73,042 over the weekend.
