The real world cup takes place in Cannes

While there may be a few awards handed out for the best ads in Cannes next week, the most important event takes place on the plage, with 16 nations, including Australia, taking part in the Cannes Lions Beach Football World Cup.

So whose hands does Australia’s honour lie in?

Ralph van Dijk
Nick Garrett
Damien Munday
Peter Horgan
Neil Robinson
Jim Curtis
Erwin Santoso
Ralph van Dijk
Hannes Ciatti
Mark Pejic
Danny Bass

A couple of things occur to Dr Mumbo about that list. First that the industry is leaning heavily on the media brawn of the likes of OMD’s Peter Horgan and Medicacom’s Mark Pejic.
