The Voice takes 2.2m for first part of final
The first part of Nine’s two-episode final of The Voice averaged 2.22m viewers for Nine on Sunday night, eclipsing the final of Dancing With The Stars on Seven, which rated 1.248m – down nearly 200,000 on last year.
The Voice – which concludes tonight – peaked at 2.794m according to overnight metro ratings from OzTam.
Nine’s The Block also preformed strongly, delivering 1.89m viewers.
Across the demographics, The Voice remained on top, taking 1.246m in 25-54, 1.17m in 18-49 and 734,000 in 16-39 as The Block was firmly second with 1.068m in 25-54, 1.028m in 18-49 and 654,000 in 16-39.
It is a pity Dancing with the Stars didnt perform better for its finale. It was a good show(3hours) with Kerri Anne and her health problems given such a sensitive touch and the feel good atmosphere of the show was great. Compare that with The Voice?
