The Voice continues to deliver for Seven with 1m plus metro viewers

The Voice Australia has made a huge start this week for Seven, delivering 1.066 million metro viewers, the highest audience for the third episode of The Voice since 2017.

It’s the third night in a row the program has brought in over a million metro viewers, making it the only entertainment program in 2021 to average over the million mark in its first week on air.

The Voice topped entertainment on Tuesday and only finished behind Seven News and Nine News overall.

As the first round of blind auditions continued, The Voice also won the 25-54 advertising demo, while Australian Survivor took out 16-39 and 18-49.

Australian Survivor had 664,000 metro viewers for Ten, ahead of The Block which brought in 634,000 metro viewers for Nine.

Outside of primetime entertainment, Nine’s new show The Hundred featuring Andy Lee premiered to 484,000 metro viewers. Home And Away had 733,000 metro viewers and The Chase Australia had 601,000.

Seven’s Australia: Now And Then had 516,000 metro viewers, while Ten’s The Cheap Seats fell out of the top 20 metro programs with 313,000.

As mentioned, Seven News was the #1 program on Tuesday, with 1.185 million metro viewers, ahead of Nine News with 1.108 million metro viewers.

Seven also won the night with a 32.5% network share, followed by Nine with 26.4%, Ten with 19.2% and ABC with 15%.

The top-rating multi-channel on Tuesday was a tie between 7TWO and 10 Bold, each with 3.3%.
