‘Things change’: Espresso Communications scales back, drops key client
Corrie McLeod: "With a 21 year old business things change."
Espresso Communications is scaling back after more than two decades in business, as its founders shift their focus to their newer venture, Innovation Advisory.
The 21-year-old technology-focused independent has dropped one of its flagship clients, IT company NetApp, and is understood to have let at least one staff member go.
Another employee has reportedly moved from full-time to contract, while the remainder have been shifted across to InnovationAus, the group’s technology publication.
Are we to believe that even though Espresso will remain as a PR agency, they dropped a multi-million dollar client? Pull the other one. Mixing PR with a news service was never going to end well.
