Three Drunk Monkeys top B&T Awards
Three Drunk Monkeys, Ikon Communications and Mango won the major awards at Friday night’s B&T awards.
Three Drunk Monkeys won ad agency of the year and the grand prix; Ikon was named employer of the year and media agency of the year, with PHD highly commended; Mango won PR agency of the year with One Green Bean highly commended.
M&C Saatchi was NSW agency of the year, Victorian agency of the year was Clemenger BBDO Proximity and Junior was Queensland agency. Mercer Bell was the DM agency and Colenso BBDO was interactive agency.
m&c winning what a joke
Excellent 3DM, great agency.
how does TDM win that when it just lost it’s biggest client?
Hi flesh peddler,
Assuming you mean Foxtel, I suspect they parted ways after the judging period ended. But I’d say they still had a good year anyway, wouldn’t you?
Cheers,
Tim – Mumbrella
not certain about the judging criteria – 3DM have not done one good piece of work and people work long hard hours over there. they lost foxtel becuase the work was really bad. just goes to show hype works magic
seems like sour grapes for a few of the losers.. you should just congratulate another agency for doing good work
Mango Australia or New Zealand? Mango Sydney or Melbourne?
which Mango? There are three or is it the whole umbrella?
I’d pay 3DM to be my PR company for sure.
But as to creative, i’d go to a creative agency.
Monkeys are obviously good. The interesting point is that for “Agency of the year” if you are part of a network (M&C, Clems, DDB, Patts etc) you cant enter. I would have thought that in the agency of the year stakes, both M&C Syd and Clems Melb should have been there. But they wern’t even on the shortlist….so they they are agency of the year, amougst those that can enter.
I know strange. Leo Burnett was in 6 categories but not that one. M&C wins must have accountants for judges
congrats Mark and co
