Tide Communications appoints new head of strategy

Stacey Pinchbeck
Hardie Grant Media’s Tide Communications has appointed former iD Collective and Flourish PR director, Stacey Pinchbeck, to the newly created role of head of strategy.
Pinchbeck brings over fifteen years’ experience across PR and marketing to the role, including two years as Flourish PR’s managing director.
“I’m incredibly honoured by the opportunity to be a part of such a dynamic team – many of which I’ve had the chance to work with previously,” Pinchbeck said of her appointment.
“Together, we’re excited about delivering a new wave of PR and communications anchored in transparency and authenticity.”

Stacey McArdle, managing director of the agency, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Stacey Pinchbeck to Tide. Her extensive experience and strategic vision make her a huge asset to our team as we go through this next phase of growth.
“Stacey and I, alongside our head of communications, Jessica Head, have previously worked together for many years,” McArdle continued.
“We have complementary skillsets and we’re excited about what that could mean for our team, network and clients.”
In October last year, the agency rebranded, taking the name from tide.pr to Tide Communications, in an effort to better reflect the “true breadth and capabilities within the business”.
The agency has also recently welcomed Sara Stockdale as senior account manager, off the back of recent business wins including projects with Access Corporate Group, Virgin Money and ME Bank.
Tide Communications’ client roster also includes Nintendo, Australian Unity, Rodd & Gunn, Vranken-Pommery, SodaStream, Champion, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, Echt and Azabu Group, among other leading brands.
