Time Out launches Melbourne app

time out melbourne logoTime Out has launched a Smirnoff-sponsored iPhone entertainment app as a sister offering to its Sydney app.  

The launch comes a month after Time Out launched in Melbourne.

The free app lists the latest events, restaurants, bars, clubs, gigs, films and festivals. The app was created by digital agency Tiger Spike, which also developed the Sydney one.

Julian Peterson, Time Out’s marketing and online director, said: “The apps are very similar but we will leave it to Sydneysiders and Melbournians to decide which one lists better restaurants and bars.”
