To busy to tweet
It took Mark Ashley-Wilson’s appointment at Universal McCann before Dr Mumbo stumbled stumble upon his staff profile on former employer The Furnace’s website.
Apparently: “Adverblog.com and twitter (@issybella) take up most of his spare time.”
Considering he hasn’t sent a tweet since January 6, he clearly doesn’t get much spare time.
He’s been looking after his two kids fulltime dude. Spare time???
Too busy to tweet. Wow. So, you like have a life and that somehow in this social media age makes you inferior?

Mark is a good operator. He’s honest, experienced, hard working and he knows what he’s doing. He definitely does not deserve the examination he’s getting. I can’t imagine why his Twitter habits are important at all. Just because he’s not cataloguing his turds and passing on his drinking conquests, appreciation of the new series of Glee etc hardly rates as an important observation. Given the trite nature of The Furnace website what did you expect him to say.
how many tweets someones made – this is news? So what works for you and the Mumbrella audience – relentless self promotion and a few Star Wars metaphors to impress the person in the next cubical?
Couldn’t recommend him highly enough & cant imagine the jury committee at Cannes (place where people whom post comments under their own name go) were counting his tweets when they chose him as a judge
Still so many bitter Twitter haters out there. For some reason. If the dude is so impressive, he won’t need this overeager defence.
not tweeting for six whole months and taking time off to be with his kids – the man’s clearly lost the plot – disgusting behavior.
its not actually that hard to tweet people! it takes about a minute or two.
Simon I don’t know who you follow on Twitter but I get great links & info from it. Its a pretty quick medium to use (and its not a fad!)
