Travel Portland appoints new public relations agency

Public relations agency Barking Owl Communications has been appointed by Travel Portland, representing the Australian and New Zealand market.

The contract is set to commence in February for 18 months consisting of media and trade outreach including influencer and activation based programs.

Heather Anderson, international tourism manager at Travel Portland, said: “We have been active in the Oceania region for some years and foresee the continued growth of the market especially with the US being the top long haul destination for Australians at this time.”
