Travlr taps Catalano’s ACM for capital raising as it signs new deal with BBC

Travel technology platform Travlr has raised capital of $6.7 million in a pre-Series B raise from Tony Gandel, Antony Catalano and Alex Waislitz’s Australian Community Media (ACM) and executive chairman of Straight 6 Group, Matt Berriman.

The funds raised are to support a new media partnership with BBC Global News, on top of existing partnerships with Network Ten, which was launched a co-branded travel marketplace in December 2019, and Stuff.co.nz (Stuff Travel). The partnership flags Travlr’s intention to expand into the global market.
