Tribal Worldwide Sydney MD and ECD departs

Tribal Worldwide Sydney managing director Phil Dowgierd and Tribal creative executive director Darwin Tomlinson have both stepped down from the agency, Mumbrella can reveal.

DDB confirmed the news of the departures of Dowgierd and Tomlinson, telling Mumbrella the duo are returning to the UK and the US respectively.

Their departure follows on just months after the agency’s relaunch in July of 2014 where it was to focus on technology-led creative. Dowgierd moved to Australia to lead the Sydney office of the digital agency last March, with Tomlinson moving across from DDB Sydney to take on the ECD role.
