TripleM axes Saturday morning Dead Set Legends show after 19 years
TripleM is ending its long-running Saturday morning show Dead Set Legends in a fortnight’s time to pave way for a new sports themed program.
The show, which has been running for 19 years and is hosted by the voice of Rugby League Ray Warren, Dan Ginane and Richard Freedman, will not return to airwaves in the new year.
It is thought the trio will still be involved at the station, with the 6pm weekday The Rush Hour Show being rebranded as Dead Set Legends amid the changes.
Oh dear, no Dead Set Legends put it on SEN and will be good if happens.
A pity. Great show. Rabs and Richard are very funny and Dan keeps it tight. Disastrous idea. Poor old Austereo.
Change for change sake. Stupid. The ramblings of Roy and HG are unlistenable – didn’t work last time it was on Triple M. Why would it now?
