Tuesday TV audience picks and sticks with Ten
Ten’s combination of Talkin Bout Your Generation and MasterChef was too strong for its rivals last night, delivering the TV network one of its biggest ratings shares of the year to date.
Programming momentum appeared to be the key to Tuesday’s schedule on Ten, with MasterChef pulling in a 1.3m audience, which Talking Bout Your Generation built into more than 1.6m viewers, according to preliminary TV ratings from OzTam. Back-to-back episodes of US import NCIS held on to much of that audience, with virtually all of the viewers staying around for the 8.30pm episode, and 1.3m for the NCIS that followed.
Meanwhile Nine’s disappointing run with Home Made continued, with the home makeover show pulling in less than 950,000 viewers.
Among Seven’s best performers of the night was Today Tonight, which featured the Max Markson-orchestrated stunt of “Spiderman” Alain Roberts’ unauthorised scaling a building in Sydney’s CBD.
