TV ratings: Cricket, construction, and current affairs win for Nine

The Block, A Current Affair, and the one day international saw Nine easily win Wednesday, with the network commanding a 35.9% market share across the five metro areas.

Aside from their unassailable news coverage, Seven’s only big winner was The Chase, which pulled just under half a million viewers. Even Home and Away fell out of the top ten!

Seven pulled 23.5% of viewers, overall, with ABC drawing 18.2% — Hard Quiz, 7:30, and Question Everything paid dividends — while Ten managed 15%, with The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity their biggest performer for the evening.
