Twinings suggests Aussie women should drink tea every day
A new ad for Twinings attempts to persuade women to make a daily habit of drinking the stuff – rather than just on ‘some days’. It was created by McCann.
The $10m campaign is supported with a competition on Facebook where the most creative answer to the question “What little things help you to enjoy the day every day?’ wins a Waterford crystal vase.
The ad comes two months after Twinings used celebrity chef Nigella Lawson in a TV campaign to launch its Australian blend.

I really like this insight. Note to Ed, it’s “someday”, not Sunday….
Ouch. Tough call. What does your mum think?
Not surprised to see Nigella get the flick. After that embarrassing “burkini” incident I’d be surprised if she ever gets work again.
I really like it. Its so true. It actually inspired me to start using the good crockery, drinking the good wine and stop saving things for a better day.
I am already a big tea drinker so the saving it for a more important reason doesn’t sit with me because im too far the other way but i really really like it.
sometimes i wish for the ads that just yell at you to come buy stuff from them. more and more, tv ads are becoming something deeper, more spiritual and pretentiously philosophical – and then you find out they’re selling a tea bag.
“Start with the best tea there is” – I am curious to know how the Research Now study backed this claim!!!
The only way tea could be good for your day is probably by calming you down, getting rid of stress is great.
Can anyone tell me what the song from the new ad is?

the frame the nigella ad is frozen on above is BRILLIANT.
they should build a campaign around that.
I think the song is a re-record of the Vanessa Carlton song 1000 Miles
