UM claims ING Direct media account
UM has won the media business for financial services group ING Direct, replacing incumbent Mindshare, a source close to the company has confirmed.
The Mediabrands agency triumphed after a pitch involving OMD and MEC.
ING is also reviewing its creative, digital and direct agency relationships, with Jack Watts Currie, The Dubs and BWM the incumbents.
News of UM winning ING was originally broken by AdNews earlier today.

Speculation … read the Adnews report and “industry insiders” have supposedly been talking over lunch.
Happy to wait for the formal press release when ING and or UM come out with a statement.
