Umm PR rebadges as Umm Communications

Sydney-based public relations agency Umm PR has rebranded to Umm Communications to reflect a broadening of its services offering.

The agency, which started life as Use My Mind when it launched in 1998, offers social media, online and creative services as well as PR.

Umm’s creative division launched with the hire of the founders of Warsaw Creative, Ben Tweedie and Adam Forster. The agency’s social media division has been boosted with the appointment of Benoit Thorp, who has joined as social media account manager.

Umm Communications, which is led by director Nikki Mumford, now has 10 fulltime staff, with clients including ILVE Australia, the Papua New Guinea government, Tiger Beer and Bintang.
