Unilever marketing chief Peter Boone set for Mumbrella360 keynote
Peter Boone, the newly arrived Chief Marketing Officer of Unilever Australasia, has been announced as the keynote guest to open the second day of next month’s Mumbrella360 conference.
Boone – a 15 year veteran with Unilever in markets across the world – was appointed to the role late last year after three years as the company’s global vice president of brand development, based in the Netherlands. Before that he was Unilever’s vice president of marketing and sales for Latin America. He began his career with Unilever in 1995.
His appearance at Mumbrella360 will see him interviewed on stage by Mumbrella editor Tim Burrowes in one of his first industry appearances since arriving in Australia.
Unilever is one of the world’s most influential advertisers with brands including Dove, Streets, Flora, Lynx, Vaseline, Bertolli, Sunsilk, Omo, Rexona and Lipton. It is among the ten biggest spending companies in Australia with an annual media spend estimated by Nielsen at $80m.
