US directors join The Feds

Journalists and documentary makers Jack Canepari and Drea Cooper will join up with The Feds.

The announcement:

The Feds are excited to welcome California based directing duo ZCDC, otherwise known as Zack Canepari and Drea Cooper.

With a background in international documentary and photography, the duo have developed their own unique approach to visual storytelling. Beyond the results of beautiful imagery and a definitive editing style, they play an integral role in the research and development of the creative project and the evolution of the stories.

The team have collaborated with agencies and clients on some pretty ground breaking projects and stunts, bringing to life the often seemingly impossible. Parachuting cars out of planes and building rollercoasters are just a couple of their recent adventures.

They’ve created campaigns for Toyota, Apple, Adidas, RayHBan, and Chevrolet. Most notably their commercial work for Chevrolet for Goodby Silverstein & Partners went on to win a Cannes Lion.

ZCDC have earned numerous international award nominations for their work, in particular their award winning online short documentary series ‘California is a place’. With over 4 million views online, the films have screened at festivals around the world including Sundance in both 2011 and 2012.

Says The Feds EP Michael Cook “We are thrilled at the prospect of working with Zac and Drea, who direct, shoot and also edit their own jobs. I’m just so impressed with their work.
