Biggest Loser’s return to air rates below afternoon gameshows and fourth in timeslot

Ten’s premiere of The Biggest Loser Transformed averaged just 450,000 metro viewers on Tuesday night, making it the 17th most-watched program of the day.

The show was Ten’s attempt to reboot the franchise with a new cast of presenters after the decision to ditch trainers Commando and Michelle Bridges.

However, the show made its worst debut yet – lower than 2015’s series premiere which saw 647,000 tune in.
