Vinyl dips despite momentum across rest of Unmade Index

Vinyl Group bucked the trend of a positive day on the Unmade Index with the stock landing close to an 18-month low.

Vinyl lost 3.5% to finish Monday on a market capitalisation of $108m. Meanwhile the wider ASX All Ordinaries gained 1.3% for the day, and the Unmade Index – which tracks Australia’s listed media and marketing stocks – gained 0.95%.

Meanwhile Southern Cross Austereo stood still after the board survived a potentially rocky AGM without falling the foul of a protest vote over the forthcoming merger with Seven West Media. SWM shares also didn’t move.
