Warburton bows out with 8.1% ratings share on last day as Ten boss
James Warburton’s final day in charge of Ten saw the network slump to one of the lowest free to air audience shares in the broadcaster’s history.
Data released by OzTAM over the weekend showed that on Friday Ten had a share of just 8.1 per cent from 6pm to midnight.
By contrast, Seven’s share of the audience in the five capital cities was 20.9 per cent. Nine was on 20.6 per cent and ABC1 was on 15.3%.
Admittedly, I’m no CEO, but maybe the answer is your shows are just shit…. And that can’t be that hard to acknowledge, no?
Holy shit, I would have happily achieved those numbers for Ten at half Warburton’s $2 million package.
Warburton – you have left a shocking wake in your demise !
No sympathy will come from many who you touched.
At least they have Africa with David Attenborough- which is by far the best thing showing on any network right now!
James is quite cute for a 40 something year old.
Maybe he can become the CEO of Hotness.
