Warburton sacked by Ten

James Warburton’s final day in charge of Ten saw the network slump to one of the lowest free to air audience shares in the broadcaster’s history.

Data released by OzTAM over the weekend showed that on Friday Ten had a share of just 8.1 per cent from 6pm to midnight.

By contrast, Seven’s share of the audience in the five capital cities was 20.9 per cent. Nine was on 20.6 per cent and ABC1 was on 15.3%.
