Could Wil Anderson be set to make a triumphant return to radio?
Anderson – the front man and co producer of the ABC’s Gruen Planet – has, Dr Mumbo is told, been spending a fair bit of time at SCA’a offices lately.
Given that last week The Highway Patrol was axed and Anderson used to co-present the drivetime slot on SCA’s Triple M with Lehmo, could it be time for a triumphant return? Admittedly, last time round they were dropped by the network after the show didn’t rate.
I can’t wait to hear Wil Anderson interview a Kardashian. That would make my life complete.

How about a station just plays his podcast instead.. Always recorded with high quality equipment, variety of guests(usually a maid wanting to make up the room) , often accompanied by a drink, or wils pain relief “Medicine” .. Just don’t expect any sponsors to last for more than 1 episode.. Would rate well though.. #FOFOP

Melbourne media are reporting that apparently Matt Tilley from Fox FM’s ‘Matt & Jo’ program will be part of a national Triple M Drive program next year. The Matt & Jo show on FOX is finishing up at the end of the year.
I saw WIl’s show on friday night at Dee Why RSL, and he spoke of a new radio show and to keep our ears open. His co star is Charlotte Clausen or something like that

My goodness, can you imagine a breakfast show where the intellect is higher than the volume.
I am so happpy to hear Ando is back on the radio waves. He was one of my fave tv personalities from the days of Glass House, gruen is a fine show but drive time is where he belongs.
I remember the days of wil at triple m, radio has gone downhill since his departure.
I remember him being hypnotized classic!

But I’m sure it would be a good mix, Aussie radio needs it right now to stay alive radio has never been so boring seriously there is more news reporting on radio antics and radio personalities tON THE RADIO than there is quality content!
Heard on the worksite this morning something about wilsy and azza. All the boys seemed to like the idea but it sounded a bit like a joke on an interview. Unfortunately don’t think it’s happening!

Umm pretty sure I heard wil is thinking of getting into the American market and is moving there … So don’t think he would be doing aus radio – unless he did what kyle did and phone in each day via Internet but that just beckons poor radio quality doesn’t it? I find it heRd to believe.. I think this is not true…
I recall reading a jetstar magazine earlier this year and Wil was a feature. Radio was never mentioned and wasn’t on the horizon as he wanted to spend more time in Byron and america to do stand up. Wishful thinking but I just checked his facebook page and he says is BS!
My mate called token his management company and they said ‘no comment’

It has recently surfaced that wil is signing a channel seven contract to do some shows or tv series on channel seven. I hope he can or is allowed to stay on abc to do gruen…

It was a hilarious special from he Just for laughs comedy festival titled ‘the aussies’ he hosts and a great array of aussie talent is shown – which is good to see.

Just heard its official! Wil anderson new radio show with Todd Sampson from abc is in the mix and will be a weekly radio show like hamish and Andy did once for high levels of listeners so excited! The show is “wilosophy with wil anderson and Todd Sampson “

WIl anderson channel 7 special is yet to air AND don’t be fooled his new so called ‘radio show’ is in fact just another free podcast called wilosophy and will have a different guest…eg this weeks is Todd sampson but he IS NOT his radio co-host!

He is Wil ANdersons mate and one half of the genius behind TOFOP, however had to stop recording because he is on Home and Away … a ‘family show’ and do not like him talking of ‘ prison r@pe and time travel!!!’
