Wild animals roam Woolworths aisles for promotional campaign

Supermarket chain Woolworths has launched a TV ad to promote its Aussie Animals promotional campaign developed in partnership with Taronga Zoo.

In the ad, created by Droga5, a boy encounters wild Australian animals in the aisles of Woolworths supermarkets.

The campaign will run through September and October with the supermarket giving away four educational animal cards with every $20 spent and marketing a collector’s album.

Cameron Kerr, director of the Taronga Conservation Society Australia, said: “Partnering with Woolworths has given us an unprecedented platform for zoos to highlight Australia’s exceptional wildlife in a vibrant and engaging way.”

Woolworths has partnered with Taronga Conservation Society for the next three years representing an investment of more than $1.9m into marine education conservation programs.
