FX picks up Wilfred US pilot

The US pay TV network FX has picked up the remake of the SBS comedy series Wilfred, ordering 13 episodes that will air during the US summer next year.

Elijah Wood will star alongside ‘Wilfred’ actor/writer/co-producer Jason Gann.

Wood will play next door neighbour Ryan, and Fiona Gublemann will be Wilfred’s owner Jenna.
