Yahoo Australia appoints new head of commercial

Yahoo Australia has appointed Maddie Basso to the newly created role of head of commercial for Australia.

Basso will lead a team of 15 and drive the company’s “overall commercial strategy across partners, resellers and operations in the Australian market”.

Basso joins Yahoo after seven years at Captify, where she launched the company’s first APAC office, and worked as head of sales.
